Nile cruise, Luxor to Aswan

رحلة نيلية من الأقصر إلى أسوان

Classic river voyage with stops at Edfu and Kom Ombo.

A Nile cruise between Luxor and Aswan is the classic way to travel through Upper Egypt. Over three to four nights, boats stop at the temples of Edfu and Kom Ombo while the river landscape of palms, villages and desert cliffs slides by. Smaller traditional sailing boats (dahabiyas) offer a slower alternative.

Highlights

  • Edfu and Kom Ombo temples
  • Sunset on deck
  • Sailing past the Esna lock

Good to know

  • Licensed operators and boat standards vary: ask for the vessel's licence and safety information.
